Barcamp Beckons

Four days and counting, Barcamp Manchester UK is almost upon us, time to write talks, prepare slides, shuffle contact cards and take a shave!

As a Barcamp virgin, I don't know quite what to expect other than what I've read on the Barcamp Manchester Wiki
"You turn up with a talk, you fight for a place on the board, and then you get on with it."
Really? People fight to stand up in front of other people and speak out loud? Scary stuff!

Having said that, James and I plan to do a talk on the recent release of Drupal 6 (assuming we can fend off other would-be brave talkers and scrawl our names on the board!...) We'll cover the new features in and generally be available throughout the day to give any help and advice on Drupal so please grab us and ask away.
